Watch the World Series Online

The San Francisco Giants lead the series 3-1.

The Texas Rangers defeated the New York Yankees to make it to their first ever World Series. The Giants will be looking to win their first World Series since 1954, and their first since moving to San Francisco.

The 2010 post season was full of drama and excitement and the 2010 World Series should be no different. I really can't think of any reason why anyone should miss out on watching the World Series. Even if you don't have access to a television, you can still watch the games, right here on your PC or laptop.

Major League Baseball, Fox Sports and TBS Hot Corner have teamed up to provide online coverage of the 2010 World Series. Subscription costs are around $10.

This option wasn't available last year when I had the need to find on online solution to my TV addiction. I became extra motivated when I realized I wasn't going to be able to watch the last few games of the world series. I really needed to find a way to watch World Series online.

I sampled and tested several websites and software programs. Most of them were disappointing, and some were downright fraudulent. There were a few that offered to let me watch the World Series online for free. I still don't know if their claims were true because they loaded my computer up with so many advertisements that my computer eventually froze up. Reluctantly, I started checking into programs that had fees. These were much better, but some were much better than others.

I sampled and tested several, and the best one I came up with is a product called Satellite Direct. Satellite Direct has a simple program that installs in less than one minute and gives you access to over 3,500 different channels.

Using Satellite Direct, I can watch a lot more than just the World Series, I have virtually unlimited access to anything I want to watch. I think I watch more TV on my PC than I do on my TV at home. I'm considering whether I should cancel my cable TV service.

Satellite Direct has a one time fee for the software (less than $50). There are no monthly bills or recurring fees. It is a simple yet powerful and effective solution to the problem of not having access to a television, cable or satellite system.

I hope you check it out and I hope you find it as useful as I do.
